Welcome to Baileys on Mission

This last day of May finds John at summer staff training for World Changers/PowerPlant summer staffers in the north Georgia mountains, Cara typing her lastest story (she's on page 60), and Christa studying for her SAT exams on Saturday. This Sunday, June 6, after the summer staff commissioning service at the mission board, John and Christa head to Hartsfield-Jackson airport for their trek to Montreal, Quebec to start Christa's Sojourner experience in Canada. She will be primarily in Quebec with French-speaking nationals until August 6. Cara and I plan to join her for her final two weeks of ministry--with Shanliwood in Ontario and Point St. Charles in Montreal, as well as a possible one-day event to launch a ministry at Danford Lake. We are already deeply indebted to and invested in the lives and work of Gary/Sue Smith, especially since Sue is Christa's summer lifeline and an amazing new friend, and of their co-workers throughout Quebec and into Ontario. We appreciate every prayer, each thoughful email, the checks for financial support, supplies and materials and funds for the missionaries, and all of your love and support. You are a treasured friend and support to the work of the Kingdom. We are thrilled to have our eyes opened to the new work God is doing within Quebec with the French-speaking nationals and emigrees. We love you very much and cherish your friendship--eternally protected in heaven, where moth and rust cannot corrupt and thieves cannot break in and steal, to the glory of Christ the Son for God the Father through the Holy Spirit. Thank you--John, Carol, Christa, Cara
